A New Ford Ranger and Bronco are a Go TSC Ford SpecialistFord fans everywhere, including TSC Ford Specialist, are finally getting what they’ve been wanting. Yes, a new Ford Ranger and Bronco are a GO! Yes, officially. Now, whether you’ll be first in line or stick with your current Ford vehicle, you can be sure that our team will take great care of your vehicle with quality maintenance and repairs.

So, let’s check out the latest news on this awesome announcement that a new Ford Ranger and Bronco are a go. Here are the details.

The Ford Ranger pickup is set to arrive in 2019 right off the press in the good old Michigan Assembly plant. The Ranger will have some of the foreign qualities they are currently producing in Thailand, Argentina, and South Africa, but the USA will equip it with new headlights, a cool new grille, and a new front fascia. The interior will be completely revamped as well.

There is not a big market right now for small-sized pickup trucks, so that is where the Ford Ranger has a competitive edge. It is not certain yet if the Ranger will be available with a diesel engine, that will depend largely on the demand and sales over the next few months. There most likely will be two gas engines including an EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder and a naturally aspirated V6 on the go for sure! Here’s looking forward to more exciting news on this great truck!

Moving onto the Ford Bronco, it looks like Ford will be using the basis of the Ford Everest as their prototype. However, Ford’s Raj Nair (Chief Technical Officer) begs to differ on that subject. He claims the Ford Bronco will be a unique version with its own style. It will be smaller than the original Bronco, but bigger than the Bronco II from the 80s. And it’s even possible that the Ford engine could be a 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6.

It looks like the Jeep Wrangler will be a good comparison vehicle at this point, as far as size and style go. Great news on the aesthetic front is a removable roof to let that sunshine in, but it looks like they’ll be foregoing a 2-door version which some were hoping to see. The Dana company will most likely be supplying the axles and driveline components, which is encouraging to us.

If you happen to be at Detroit’s Auto Show next year, you may want to get in there to see all that is in store for the Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco. There are even rumors that the Bronco version may even make a cameo in the new Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson film called Rampage coming out next spring. Of course, that Hollywood version will probably differ, but it may be entertaining.

So now that a new Ford Ranger and Bronco are a go, you can stop hoping and wishing for it to finally be a reality. TSC Ford Specialist is confident you will like the ride and the new features as much as we are anticipating. While everything at this point isn’t set in stone, it definitely keeps our interest peaked, and we’ll be sure to provide updates as we get them.
